Mahogany and mahogany veneer with a central marquetry flap representing a Peacock in majesty. It is surmounted by an edged shelf decorated with embossed copper scrolls on a matt glass background with hammered print. It is flanked by bronze handles. It rests on an openwork base. Signed lock.
