Oval miniature portrait painted on ivory of Countess Daria Mikhailovna NIRODE, born Princess CANTACUZEN (1878-1944), maid of the Imperial Court, daughter of Prince Cantacuzen Count Speransky (1847-1894) and wife of Feodor Maximillianovich Nirode (1871-1952), a Russian major-general. During the civil war, she was part of the white movement.
In a gilt brass frame engraved on the back with her title, dated 1911.
