Folded fan, the cream silk sheet painted with three cartels underlined with gold sequins. On the sides, two large bouquets in blue and gold vases. In the center, a peasant couple in front of their farm welcomes elegant city dwellers who have come to visit their child. The subject recalls the common practice at that time to nurse one's child in the country.
