Oblong album, titled in German on the first cover, Reise Erinerungen, containing 80 albumen prints, most of them (54) in landscape format, 205?x?250 mm, at the end of the volume, 24 types and costumes, 105?x?150 mm, captions in ink in German, pleasant tones, good condition overall
Heny Lewis, or Henri Louis Duperly, came from Jamaica to found a photographic studio first in Barranquilla in 1892. He moved it to Bogota in 1895. This album contains prints comparable to those exhibited at the famous Exposición de Bellas Artes in Bogotà in 1899.
