Large folio volume, vellum binding signed E. Richon, decorated on the first cover with ink and watercolour by Émile Fivaz, Henri's son, 192 albumen prints, about 20?x?25 cm, pleasant contrasts (see also first pages).
The Swiss architect collected during his journey prints, often curious, from Garrigues in Tunis, Catala Notti in Tunis, Arnoux in Port-Saïd, Zangaki in Cairo, adding views of Aden (Hotel de l'Europe), Saigon, Hong-Kong, Ceylon, Mozambique (Lourenço Marques), Zanzibar, South Africa (Durban), Tenerife, Canary Islands, Las Palmas ossuary
