China, Qianlong period 18th century A pair of ormolu and cloisonné enamel vases, Gu shape, decorated with palms and lotus alternating with Buddhist emblems, all on a turquoise background, friezes of ruyi at the foot and at the edge of the neck, a frieze of flowers and scrolls in ormolu at the painted shoulder of the central part, a frieze of greek ormolu and blue champlevé enamels at the neck and at the foot. The inside of the collars enamelled with foliage on a blue background. Height Height : 48 cm Slightly missing and worn.
