Analogies : To be compared with two other compositions on the theme known as the Pantry, (circa 1610 - 1615) by Frans Snyders in which several elements represented here are found identically, but arranged, for some of them differently:
1 - Game, birds and fruit, from the former H. C. Boysen collection in Berlin (Cf. Hella Robels, Frans Snyders, Stilleben und Tiermaler; no. 93, pp. 242 - 2423; fig. p.244 - 1989. Probably the one certified by Sam Segal, for the Galerie La Maurelle in Marseille; canvas 92 x 142 cm) ;
2 - Still life with small game, fruit and vegetables (1613) (Panel; 95.5 x 125.6 cm) formerly at Jack Kilgore & Co., New York (Susan Koslom, Snyders, no. 87, p.76 - Fonds Mercator, Antwerp 1995).
