Second edition of this important piece written by Claude Brousson (1647-1698), a Protestant lawyer, born in Nîmes, refugee in Lausanne and died in Montpellier; he was a fervent defender of the Protestants and appointed lawyer during the famous trial of Montauban in 1683.
Accused of crime and rebellion, Brousson was tried on November 4, 1698 and condemned to be strangled before being broken on the wheel.
