Despite the indication on the title it would seem that this is the original edition and not a new one (see the copies listed on the BnF website as well as the notes in the specialized bibliographies). A great classic of political economy under the Ancien Régime, the work of Boisguillebert (1646-1714) gives numerous details on population, revenues, the importance of the budget and the expenses of the state, etc. A very good copy, signed by a former owner (Varignon de Longueau) on the flyleaf and on the title
