From the beginning, Citroën got used to huge commercial success with the A and B types. The simple, well-built, reliable and robust 5 horsepower C type was obviously no exception to this rule.
The car presented here has a very nice history. Indeed, its owner was the director of the Garage Citroën Magenta, which was the former activity of the Le Floc'h office.
Always maintained, then restored a few years ago, it is in a very good general condition. As for the interior layout, it should be noted that it was originally a 3-seater torpedo with the rear seat in the middle. According to the information gathered, it has been presented since at least the 50's and probably before, with two real seats and a bench in the back.
This "5 HP" has been in the same family for at least 85 years and has only received one registration in the system set up in 1950. Overall in very good condition, this is a very interesting example of the very first Citroën.
