18K (750) gold necklace, with a pattern of two shafts, each adorned with enamelled plique-à-jour clovers set with a rose-cut diamond, ribbons set with old-cut diamonds, and chiselled flowers, finished with a baroque pearl in a pampille. A french Art Nouveau century necklace, attributed to Théodore-Eugène Goujon
Goujon's work is listed in the archives of the 1906 Salon by Alastair Duncan. The composition of the motif in two symmetrical parts, held together by two chains, and the floral theme are clues to this attribution. Alastair Duncan, The Paris salons 1895-1914, p. 296-297
