The bottom of the hat is decorated with an original engraving of the Asylum field with trophies of arms, cartridges marked "To the Brave", Amerindians and soldiers of the Grand Army. Height: 23 cm. Width : 32 cm. In its strong cardboard transport box. A period book retracing the history of the "Champ d'asile" A.B.E. Restoration period is attached. History: In 1817 and 1818, French Bonapartists who took refuge in the United States after the fall of Napoleon attempted to create a state in North America. This construction has multiple origins, including the strong Bonapartist immigration in the New World after 1815 and the desire of these exiles to have an activity and create a refuge for any sympathizer of Napoleon Bonaparte. Thus, in 1817, an independent state was founded in Texas: the Asylum Field.
