watercolour on vellum, oval, signed on the right: "Dubois", presumed portrait of Prince Joseph Poniatowski (1763/1813), in Polish marshal's uniform, dark blue suit, collar embroidered with gold passementerie, marshal's epaulettes; he is draped with a red cloak with fur and wears the plates of grand-croix of the order of the Virtuti militari and that of the order of the Legion of honour; gilded frame with palmettes; height 25 cm, width 20 cm.
