With a new commentary by M. Amar. Paris, Lefebvre, 1821. Four volumes large in-8, contemporary bindings in long-grained red morocco, on the boards a set of gilt fillets with corner fleurons framing a large plate pushed to cold with a rhombus-rectangle decoration, with a four-lobed reserve imbricated in the central rhombus, spines richly ornamented with a repeated palette gilt in the cathedral style, inner lace, gilt edges (Thouvenin). Portrait of Boileau engraved by Lignon after Rigaud and 6 figures by Desenne engraved on steel for the Lutrin. Copy on large vellum paper. Imposing high relief plate bindings by Thouvenin.
