Mask representing a stylized face The rectangular shape of the face is in line with the Chontal works, while the eyebrow ridge, the effilés eyes and the fleshy mouth, announce the Teotihuacan style. The ears are straight. Condition: broken and reattached. Green serpentine with brown patina Late Chontal Culture, Guerrero / proto-teotihuacan, Mexico 100 BC - 200 AD H. 15.8 - L. 15.8 cm Provenance: - Dr. R. Fernandez MD, 1940s.
