Vase with a handle decorated with waves
The base of the globular body is decorated with scrolls evoking waves whose surface is finement polished. They contrast and highlight the treatment of the upper part, made of matted reliefs that evoke the surface of the spondy-lus. These shells were important elements of shamanic rituals. The shell is thus placed in its natural element: water.
Broken and glued back together
Brown and black terracotta.
