PORTABLE ALTAR. Triptych in-folio, olive morocco, Du Seuil decoration, coat of arms on the three boards, on the back of the central board gilded mention : Canon for the chapel of the chasteau de la Barrollière dedicated to the Sacred Virgin of Sainct Rozaire, 1633. (18th century binding)_x000D_. _x000D_ This canon consists of 3 leaves engraved by I. Briot after Joan Strada, illuminated and enhanced with gold: _x000D_ - The central leaf is illustrated with two large scenes: the Crucifixion in the upper part, the Last Supper in the lower part which includes the painted coat of arms. - The other two leaves show the Apostles and saints at the top and bottom of the text. - 12 scenes of the Passion border the texts. Bound in the La Barrotière coat of arms. Angular foxing, some stains, very faded boards. _x000D_
