1996 BENTLEY AZURE MBN000ABL018 Serial Number Great color setup 54,233 kilometres French Registration Card The Bentley Azure was unveiled in 1995 at the Geneva Motor Show. It replaced the old Bentley Continental Convertible based on the Rolls-Royce Corniche. As its name suggests, the Bentley Azure was designed for strolling and long-distance travel on the French Riviera. Developed on the basis of the Continental R, it offered the sufficient power of 385 horsepower intended to tow the 2.6 tons of the beautiful English. Designed by Pininfarina, the Azure is a real aesthetic success, out of time, it managed to remove the top without losing its elegance. Extremely expensive when it was released, it was worth £347,000 without the options. Despite this, it was a definite success for Bentley, which sold 1,403 units from 1995 to 2002, surely taking advantage of the absence of a convertible in the Rolls-Royce range after the Corniche stopped in 1994 and before its return in 1999, Even if the latter was then based on the Bentley, once is not customary. This Bentley Azure was delivered in 1996, it perfectly combines the dark metallic blue of its bodywork with a taut beige leather interior and a navy blue alpaca hood. Extremely elegant and discreet, yet it is sumptuous in its facilities. Its body is in excellent condition and its interior is close to the new one. It has only 54,233 kilometres on the meter. The test drive of the car reflects its general good condition and the regular and recent maintenance granted to it. A true road liner, the Azure is one of the most luxurious convertibles in the history of the car, nothing was left to chance by Bentley and this car in superb condition is there to prove it.
