Provenance:
From the service "bords bleus, Enfans et corbeilles", delivered on December 4, 1773 to Marie-Caroline, Queen of Naples (wife of King Ferdinand IV of Naples and Sicily), by order of King Louis XV on the occasion of the christening of her second daughter born in July 1773.
Notes:
This important delivery included a first, second and third service and a set of biscuits (39 groups and statuettes), for the total sum of 12,424 livres. Delivered by the Duc d'Aiguillon, it included a punch bowl and a mortar and pestle set valued at 720 livres.
