KONO Guinea, southern region h 18 cm Steatite Janus figure with a dark oily glaze. A rare and unusual figure of a head with two faces positioned back-to-back, facing outwards and sculpted with the same features. A large hole penetrates the entire sculpture.The Kono are a people situated in Guinea’s mountain region that crosses the river Moa. WS 334) NOTE Lot not located at Finarte offices but in Switzerland. It could be subject to customs costs related to the importation into the buyer’s country.
