JAPAN, TAISHO-EARLY SHOWA PERIOD, CIRCA 1920-1940 Porcelain pot in the shape of a reclining duck, accompanied by its duckling, carrying on its back a lotus leaf surrounding a floral button forming the stopper, the body of the birds with polychrome enamelled decoration on a midnight blue background, of lotus scrolls and medallions with phoenix and chrysanthemums.
