A small section, corresponding to the sampling for the analyses, reveals the interior which is of brecciated aspect. The breccia is the association of various mineral fragments composing the surface of the moon. This meteorite is thus an authentic fragment of the moon, a lunar rock, ejected from its surface following an impact before falling on the Earth thousands of years ago in the Sahara desert.
