TÔN-THÂT Tiêt (born 1933). Autograph musical manuscript signed, Holly (film music), 2005; 47 pages 35.5 x 26 cm. Music for the film Holly by Guy Moshe (2006). The instrumental ensemble includes flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon (and contrabassoon), 2 percussion instruments, violin, viola, cello. The score is divided into 9 sequences, from the "Opening credits" to the "Closing credits", and 3 interludes. These sequences are sometimes subdivided into sub-sequences, accompanied by a brief commentary and the film's cutting numbers: thus, 2a "Cry of despair/sequence 8/sequence 125)", 2b "Patrick (sequence 42)", 3c "Friendship (Holly and Patrick) (sequence 43)"... The manuscript is very carefully noted in Indian ink on 20 (or 22) stave paper; corrections by tipex. One page in-4 gives details of the instruments.
