Manuel ROSENTHAL (1904-2003). Autograph music manuscript signed, Two Études en camaïeu, 1969; 22 sheets 35 x 27 cm (marginal and corner cuts for clichage, traces of tape).
Orchestral score of these two pieces for string orchestra and timpani. Commissioned by the O.R.T.F., the work was premiered at the Maison de la Radio on January 5, 1972 under the direction of the composer; it is dedicated to the conductor Georges Tzipine. Duration about 12 minutes.
I Mutations (p. 1-15), beginning Lento tranquillo; II Révolutions (p. 16-22), Allegro giocoso.
The manuscript is carefully written in Indian ink on tracing paper with 30 lines; it is dated at the end "Paris 16 December 1969".

Attached is the autograph manuscript of Act I of his opera Hop Signor !, [1961], libretto by Michel de Ghelderode ([2]-142 pages 27,3 x 35,5 cm).
