Manuel ROSENTHAL (1904-2003). Autograph musical manuscript, Trois Chansons d'amour, 1941; 3-3-4 pages on 3 bifolios 35 x 27 cm.
Melodies for voice and piano, composed in Paris in March 1941, each signed and dated at the end.
I Amour le veut et consent : " Dame gracieuse et belle "..., poetry by Jehannot de Lescurel (16th century), Giocoso, March 19; II Amour, faciez votre talent : " Amour, voulez-vous accorder "..., same author, un poco lento, March 14; III Je me rends aux armes : " Hé, adieu, amours "..., anonymous poetry of the 15th century, Allegro, March 8.
The manuscript is written in violet ink on 18-line paper, bearing the SACEM stamps dated October 21, 1957.
