First illustrated edition of the first issue (Jules Verne's name does not appear on page 1) with caption errors (pp. 25 and 32) and first single carton. Covers and spines partially faded. Otherwise, a very nice copy of this great Verne title, here in its untraceable version bound by Lenègre. The grosgrain percaline is superb of sensuality...
