Crowned and dressed in a blue coat with ermine reverse, the Allegory of the French monarchy protects the four eldest children of
four eldest children of Louis XV and Marie-Lescynzka, the two little twins born in 1727, Marie-Louise
Elisabeth and Anne Henriette Marie-Louise, born a year later. The Monarchy holds the Dauphin Louis on her lap,
born in 1729, wearing the blue ribbon of the Order of Saint Michael.
