Paris, Alain Margaron, 2005. 2 volumes, one in-folio, matte and satin black polycarbonate, boards decorated with an asymmetrical decoration, grey and cream polycarbonate pieces, veined or granulated, round moulded spine, cream title, grey imitation wood paper folder, round titled spine, bordered slipcase, the second volume in copper, identical tri-fold slipcase, black morocco square spine, cream and light blue title (Ph. Fié). First edition. It is illustrated with 14 plates by the author engraved with burin and drypoint by Cécile Reims and enhanced with colours by Fred Deux. Edition at 40 numbered copies on BFK de Rives. One of the 2 first copies accompanied by an original copperplate (130 x 193 mm), in this case the drawing n°1377 Impuissance, and a suite on japon appliqué. Cécile Reims has attached to the copper his working tracing. Autograph signed letter : ...this sacred liquor, this bitter and sweet taste, with a pinch of pepper, necessary to any friendship... Superb original binding by Philippe Fié. Seven original drawings by Fred Deux signed, titled and dated 1974. Graphite pencil and gouache highlights.
