One of 60 copies on Arches vellum, complete with the folding frontispiece which is only found in the large paper copies.
This novel was to consist of three volumes. The second, entitled Le Pont de Londres (next lot), was published posthumously in 1964; as for the last part, Céline gave up writing it during his Danish exile.
