1698 DECLARATION OF PEACE BETWEEN LOUIS XIV & EMPEROR LEOPOLD : "By the ROY, It is made known to all, That a good, firm, stable & solid Peace, with a full & sincere Friendship & Reconciliation, has been made & granted between the Most High, Most Excellent, & Most Powerful Prince LOUIS King of France and Navarre, & Most High, Most Excellent, & Most Powerful Prince LEOPOLD Emperor; & the Lords Electors, Princes & States of the Empire... That the said PEACE is general between Them...
