2008 was an exceptional “millésime” for Champagne in many ways.
On the one hand, it was the smallest vintage ever harvested by Salon with only 8000 Magnums produced, but it was also one of the most qualitative harvests, following in the footsteps of the legendary vintages of the House: 1982, 1966 and 1928. On the other hand, the wine of this peculiar year was aged exclusively in magnum bottles for a slower and more delicate maturation than ever before
