NEPAL, late 19th century. Sculpture of a female deity standing on a turtle, her four arms in movement. The two lower arms make the gesture of giving and of the absence of fear. The upper arms hold the attributes. She is wearing a crown and a high bun and is adorned with a necklace on her bare chest. The scarf swirls around her and her skirt forms an anchor. Bronze. Height: 48 cm, dimensions of the lotus base: 22.5 X 15.5 cm.
