Jean-François MILLET (1814-1875) Fraternité Charcoal on paper formerly pale blue 21.7 x 17.8 cm With frame: 38 x 33.5 cm Signed and dedicated lower right: J.F. Millet to / A. Sensier. In the lower center, the inscription: FRATERNITE. On the back, three sketches of an allegory of Equality. Provenance: Given by the artist to Alfred Sensier (1815-1877), Marguerite Sensier, his daughter, remained in his descendants.
