Superior officer's sword model 1817 with chasing, modified under the July Monarchy. Handle covered with silver filigree chagrin. Gilded and chased brass mounting, one-branch guard with oak leaf decoration. Keyboard with the great arms of France on a bundle of six flags (the fleurs-de-lis were removed under the July Monarchy). Quillon with lion's head. Counter-keyboard with pump. Beautiful blade with median edge, signed on the heel "Biset Sculpsit" and Manufre Rale de Klingenthal", richly engraved on the half with foliage scrolls, trophies of arms, a shield with a grenade and a barrel marked "Honneur et Patrie" and another with the monogram "LR". Leather scabbard with two gilded brass fittings. B.E. Restoration period - July Monarchy.
