This small figure of Bacchus is reminiscent of the bronze Wild Man with a club, of similar dimensions, which also has a knee with a fixing hole, considered to be a chandelier element and which is kept in the Grassimuseum in Leipzig (inv. Nr 1927.046, fig.).
