Cuccioni, était l'aîné des photographes fréquentant le Caffé Greco, Giacomo
Caneva, Eugène Constant, Eugène Le Dien, Frédéric Flacheron. Giacomo Caneva
était un ami si proche qu'il fut son exécuteur testamentaire en 1864. Après la mort
de ce dernier l'année suivante, la veuve de Cuccioni confia l'important studio romain
à Giuseppe Ninci.
