Copy of Arthur Meyer, stuffed, as usual, with various documents: a Report to the Emperor with an autograph of Napoleon, an autograph note of Balzac, a watercolour by E. Boutigny representing Napoleon and dedicated to Arthur Meyer. Meyer had another watercolour by Alphonse Lalauze, dedicated to himself and dated 1909, added after the binding at the end of the volume.
The binding bears Arthur Meyer's mark, the Gallic cockerel, emblem of his journal.
