"Composition" (1973). Etching in black, dated, just. 2/3, signed in pencil, mounted under mat and wooden frame. Size of frame: 31,5 x 31,5 cm; subject: 10,5 x 12,5 cm. Fujio Akai was born in 1945 in Sumatra to an Indonesian mother and a Japanese father. He grew up in Japan before coming to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. He lives and works alternately in Cologne, Brussels and Kyoto.
