Solène BALLESTA (born in 1993). Tokyo diaries - Tako, 2020. Pigment ink print on matte Fine Art paper, 100 x 70 cm. Tako is a series of self-portraits produced in Tokyo with her partner the Chinese artist Lin Zhengqi. This series questions their adopted Japanese culture, with humor and eroticism, while staging the male-female relationship in the couple through the "female gaze". Solène Ballesta is the winner of the Picto Prize for young fashion photography in 2018.
