Curved chest of drawers in violet wood veneer opening to three drawers, the lower one with central recess "à pont". Ornamented with gilded bronzes "with whiskers" decorated with dragons. Red griotte marble top from Belgium (stained and repaired). Attributed to Etienne Doirat or to his son-in-law and collaborator Louis Simon Painsu. Regency period. Height : 82 cm - Width : 121 cm Depth : 60 cm The bronze "moustaches" decorating the lower bridge are usually in the form of stylized horns of plenty, but here they are in the rare form of dragons.
