Very nice three-piece set including a 3/4 sheet skirt, a jacket and a blouse with small balloon sleeves. Reapplied satin embroidered decoration with vermiculated motifs and stylized flowers, recalled on the lapels of the jacket and the inner flap of the skirt. Scratched on the skirt and jacket Joseph PAQUIN - 10, rue Castiglione - Paris. Circa 1935-1936 Very good condition (small stain on the blouse) Joseph Paquin opened his fashion house in 1908. He should not be confused with his namesake, Jeanne Paquin's husband. Moreover, the great Paquin house will obtain the change of its name to avoid any confusion, which unfortunately still exists today. Even if Joseph Paquin did not obtain the success of Jeanne Paquin's house, it is worth noting that his creations had a very good reputation. The dress presented here is a good example of the designer's precision work.
