A Pair of mahogany, mahogany veneer and stained wood overturned back armchairs, the front sheathed uprights surmounted by Egyptian heads support straight armrests finished with pastilles and claws on the lower part, arched back legs. Stamped Jacob Frères, rue Meslée Consulate period Seats upholstered with frame (some restorations) H : 90 - W : 61 - D : 47 cm Provenance : Collection Jean LEFEVRE (1908- 1965), architect. The stamp "Jacob Frères rue Meslée" is used by Georges II and François-Honoré-Georges Jacob between 1796 and 1803.
