A mahogany and mahogany veneer LIBRARY with brass... Lot 151

A mahogany and mahogany veneer LIBRARY with brass fillets, opening on the front with a central glass door and two side panels. The rounded uprights are decorated with ormolu leafy falls and the sides are curved. It rests on four cambered legs ending in gilt bronze sabots. The cornice with a doucine is encircled by a brass lingotière, the apron decorated with a shell and olive branches in the center. The interior has shelves and a mirror back. Stamped DASSON (Hanry Dasson 1825-1896) and dated 1886 Louis XV style Height 175 cm, Width 127 cm, Depth 41 cm (scratches on one leaf and wear to the moulding)
