The edition is still that of the first binding and bears the date of 1886. Succeeding the gilt globe boards of type 1 and 2, this third gilt globe board has benefited from a small print run for this title. See Jauzac, pp. 245 - col. 1 and 2.
Beautiful first plate with gleaming gold.
The first title page has been redone.
