Horizontal sundial on a table, portable. Square, quadripod, brass turntable with circular dial with index engraved with Roman numerals, with compass at the bottom center and triangular style engraved with scrolls and patina, folding, on spring blade. Correspondence of latitude "For 48 degrez : 51 Minutes" engraved at the bottom, on both sides of the compass. Signed upper left and located upper right. Late 17th or early 18th century H. (unfolded) : 6,6 cm - Dim. plate : 10,6 x 10,6 cm. Some stains and minor wear. Louis Chapotot (active from 1670 to 1700) or Jean Chapotot (active from 1690 to 1720).
