Pair of flintlock belt-fed officers' pistols (cavalry or navy?). Unsigned round-bodied flintlock locks and leaf-engraved swan-necked hammers, possibly with patches. Breech covers engraved with a leaf. Smooth, octagonal barrels with gilded decorations of nets, dotted lines, flowers and a sun on the handlebar. Punch palms crossed in a medallion with thunders. Calibre 15 mm. Walnut shafts with finely squared grips, partially decorated with filigree. Cut iron fittings, pommels with polygonal tables, belt hooks. With two dewlap sticks and horn tip. Empire-Restauration period. Barrel length : 21,5 cm - Total length : 35,5 or 35,8 cm. Wear to the gilding and small oxidations ; some scratches, small shocks to the fittings, and some small cracks and small chips to the barrels ; a soft spring, to be revised.
