POMPONNE MESSAGE CASE, ENGLISH, 18th CENTURY. Of trapezoidal form, decorated with garlands of polychrome flowers on a gold background (Martin varnish) framed by a stylized motif set with Rhinestones and colored stones. The upper part opens by a hinge. Slight wear and tear from the time, small missing pieces, but good condition. English work, 18th century, for the Chinese market. H. : 12 cm - L. : 3,5 cm.
