ANCIENT IRANIAN KURDISH (North West of Iran).
Wool velvet on cotton foundation.
Midnight blue abrashé field (Turkish word designating the natural change of wool) with stylized botehs (symbol of genesis and fertility, the seed motif found in cashmere shawls) in polychrome, surrounding a sky-blue octagonal medallion with ivory star-shaped flowers encrusted with diamonds.
Three borders, the main one beige with crenellated foliage in twists.
