GRAND BIDJAR RUG (Iran)
Quality silky wool velvet on cotton backing.
Brick field with scrolls of garlands with branches of polychrome flowering palmettes, decorated with a large central multi-lobed rose window in midnight blue, old gold and ivory, in the shape of a diamond.
Four midnight blue spandrels with multicolored flower crowns.
Five borders of which the main one is navy blue, with bulbs and flower buds.
