Abbé GRÉGOIRE (1750-1831), central figure of the beginning of the Revolution, buried in the Pantheon. Set of 5 L.A.S. and 1 P.A. to citizens Daire and Servois. Year 6 - 1811. 8 pp. ½ in-8 and in-4. Requests for services: invitation to an "errand" to look for fruits and vegetables, rent of a house, missed appointment with the archbishop of Cambrai, etc. "Would you believe, dear citizen, that I cannot find a single one of my reports on vandalism? I believe, however, that I have a copy, but it is undoubtedly mixed up in the vastness of my papers []". "I beg citizens Daire and Servois to kindly hand over to the persons who will carry this note, the minutes of national assemblies, motions, reports, speeches made at the said assemblies. And to join Grotius and Pufendorf which they have been kind enough to take care of [] ".
